Sight Unseen (DEMO)
A downloadable game for Windows
Notice
This game is not suitable for players with a history of photosensitive epilepsy. Also, this game explores visual strain as a game mechanic, so be careful with your eye health especially if you are under 18. We ask that if you feel like it starts to affect your vision, use the Sunglasses Mode or stop playing and talk to a doctor before resuming!
About
Sight Unseen is a mind-bending VR game in which the player has the ability to take one of their eyes to see the world from two perspectives simultaneously!
You have just pulled off a bank heist and have successfully stolen the coveted Secret Cybernectic Cybereye 3000. Now, you must escape the bank with your newly aquired eye, which not only lets you see in two places at once but also view the world in Cybervision. This ability reveals hidden traps and obstacles, such as lasers and secret pathways, that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye.
You're not alone in this escape either! Inside your Cybereye is Candy, an AI assistant designed to help its user with any task thrown her way. However, it turns out Candy's previous owner set her to the "Girlfriend" setting!?
This is a vertical slice that takes ~10 minutes to complete.

Install guide
This game (currently) runs through SteamVR and will work with any compatible headset. Tested on Meta Quest 2s (and currently displays Quest controllers for button prompts) but as long as you have primary/secondary buttons, joystick, front and side triggers on each controller, you are good (sorry HTC Vive wand users...)
If you are on Meta Quest 2, here is what you do to load the game:
1) Set up either Steam Link on the Meta App Store, or download the Meta Quest Link app on PC.
2) Launch/connect the Meta Quest 2 to your PC using either method.
3) Launch SteamVR and make sure you get in the game.
4) Load Sight Unseen DEMO.exe
If you are a creator, I recommend using SteamVR's Both Eyes output view for recording footage of this game.
